Notice of possible changes to public disclosure rules.

We are considering adopting changes to WAC 308-10 relating to public records disclosure. Included in the proposed changes are new rules governing access to digital information - including our Internet Vehicle/Vessel Processing System ( I VI PS) - and disclosure of electronic records, as well as expanded and updated definitions. IVIPS is an application that allows approved users to access a copy of vehicle or vessel title and registration information from a secure internet site.  The proposed changes, together with the hearing date and time, can be viewed online at http://www.dol.wa.gov/about/vehiclerules.html.
